What Etiquette To Remember When Watching Free Movies

By Dominique Martin

It should be really fun for people to go to the amusement park, to take a dip in hot springs, or to travel leisurely around the world. Even eating out at a high class restaurant can take away a persons strength. However, the most fun activity that people should enjoy nowadays is watching free movies at a nearby theater.

While it is so much fun for you, it may not be so for other people. Instead of having fun, they get so angry about those individuals who do not know any etiquette when going to theater. Everyone needs to learn some manners then before going there. Here are those etiquette that you should hammer to your body to avoid annoying other people.

First, you have to keep your cellphone in silent mode. In fact, it is better if you just turn it off for the entire show time if the film or leave it at the comfort of your own home. If you do that, then you do not have to annoy your seatmates when you have to take a call in the middle of a very moving climax scene.

Watch where you rest your feet. It is actually acceptable for you to rest your knees or feet on the armrest or chair right in front of you. No matter how much the ushers do not like it, you have to keep yourself feeling comfortable the entire time. However, make sure that the seat is empty first before doing anything.

No taking pictures. It is an illegal act and you may get fined for it. There is actually nothing more annoying for the people in the dark room off of the theater than a phone or a camera flashing intermittently. Not only can that be distracting, you will also be annoying them.

Talking with your companion or with another person is fine as long as you minimize the volume of your voice. There is no need to talk out loud or to shout just because you are in a theater. If you can, you should refrain from talking at all. Everyone will appreciate silence while watching a film, after all.

Making out is a big no no too. Do not let your passion run over you while in the dark, cold setting of the theater. Do not do it when there are kids around, when there is no one else in the theater, or even when there are lots of people. No one wants to see you making out with your partner, after all.

Pee breaks are something to watch out for. While it is true that everyone has to go to a bathroom to pee at some point in time, it is not forgivable to always get up every thirty minutes just to go to the bathroom. That will just disturb the other people who are actually intending to seriously watch the show.

When you love to snack while watching a movie, you better do it nicely. This mans that you should not allow your cellophane to contend with the noise of the show. It does not annoy anyone if you eat but if you do it noisily or messily, then that is another matter.
