According to Philadelphia Daily News, one of the anonymous women in the papers filed by Andrea Constand is Beth Ferrier. In her words, the comic drugged and sexually assaulted her in the 1980s inside a car in Denver. The story is said to have surfaced in 2005 but was killed by the tabloid after lawyers pressured them. Andrea is said to have settled her lawsuit out of court in November 2006.
Barbara Bowman met the comic in 1980 as an upcoming actress. He was her mentor for several years. In a story published in 2006, she was molested several times in Reno and New York City. She joins the list of anonymous accusers.

At the time, different media outlets were planning to feature the comedian or rerun his shows. Netflix has lined a stand-up comedy appearance on November 28th while NBC was preparing a show on an extended family where he would be the patriarch.
Mark Whitaker wrote a biography entitled Cosby, Life and Times. As a renowned journalist with CNN and Newsweek, it was expected that he would include the allegations, but he did not. He claimed that none of them had been verified in court or by an independent witness. This meant that they did not meet the required threshold.
In a show in Philadelphia, Hannibal Buress repeated the rapist tag which made the clip to go viral on the internet. This reignited the debate which saw Daily Mail publish more details about the accusations made by Bowman. In the article Bowman refers to the old comic as a monster. Appearances on Queen Latifahs show and Late Night with David Letterman were also canceled.
